At the new Stemp OASEE in the Bavarian Forest, real snow is integrated into the spa concept as a natural, gentle form of cooling after the sauna.
With the new Stemp OASEE, the family-run wellness resort Das Stemp has created a spa area that brings together architecture, nature and regeneration in a quiet, considered way.
A central element of the concept is the SNOWROOM by TechnoAlpin Indoor. It offers guests a gentle and natural way to cool down after the sauna — independent of season and weather. Rather than being treated as a separate attraction, the snow room is integrated into the architectural concept of the OASEE.
In the Bavarian Forest, snow carries a strong emotional meaning. What once felt self-evident is no longer guaranteed. At Das Stemp, this natural experience is brought indoors and made accessible all year round.
The project shows how real snow can become part of contemporary wellness architecture: not as an effect, but as a calm, sensory element that completes the spa experience.
