In August 2026, Reykjaböð Hot Springs will open in Iceland with a wellness concept shaped by the country’s natural contrasts.
Geothermal warmth, cold air, water, stone, mist and snow form the basis of a carefully designed guest experience. As part of the concept, the SNOWROOM by TechnoAlpin Indoor was integrated to offer an immersive and accessible form of cooling with real snow.
For spa consultant Katherine Connolly, the SNOWROOM was not added as a stand-alone feature, but as an essential part of the overall experience.
“The SNOWROOM was not introduced as a novelty; it became an essential part of the overall experience.”
The project shows how snow can become part of a coherent wellness concept that is closely connected to its location.
